Margot is available on your dates!

Margot sits high on the plains of an old dairy turned regenerative farm, right in the heart of the Ferguson Valley on Kaniyang country.

At sunset, as the sun sinks over the horizon, the views out to Bunbury turn to gold. Karak (Red-tailed Black Cockatoos) and Carnaby Cockatoos flock to roost in the trees while Roos hop on by.

It doesn’t take long for the quiet tranquillity to descend and the sounds of nature to bring peace and relaxation.

Sleeping 4 and dog friendly, Margot is the perfect cabin to get the whole family off-the-grid. Spend your days enjoying the solitude of farm life, watching the cows graze, playing games, reconnecting with each other, relaxing in the outdoor bath and exploring what’s on offer in the valley.

We’ve taken a big breath of the great outdoors, added a gorgeous cabin and mixed it with a few things we love to have around. We think you’ll like it.

You will enjoy the sleep of your dreams on one of Eva's luxurious mattress. Beautiful bed linen is also included in your stay. It will be hard to leave - we promise!

The bedding configuration is:

  • 1x Queen mattress in the loft / top bunk,
  • 1x Double mattress in the bottom bunk.

Please note: If you are booking for 1-2 people, the double mattress area will be locked. Please tell us in the notes when booking if you require a different configuration.

The Queen bed up top is designed for adults, while the cubby double bed down below is designed for the kids. It’s recommended that only children over the age of 9 years use the top bunk. Bunk beds are not a safe option for young children.

Nature is best enjoyed with a few creature comforts, such as a luxurious hot water rain shower, hand basin, compost toilet and... TP! Towels, hand wash and body wash are also provided for your stay.

Our cute little kitchen has everything you need. Margot is equipped with a 2-burner gas stove, sink, mini-fridge and all the utensils to cook up a storm. There is also a gas weber BBQ for outdoor cooking. YESSS!

We have your tea and coffee needs sorted as well as a few essentials like olive oil and S+P. There is also a selection of extra goodies you can purchase from Margot's 'Bush mini-bar' or from the extras section when you make your booking.

Heating + Cooling

A large ceiling fan above the dining area and small fans by the beds should keep you cool in Summer. There is also an AC available for use on those sweltering hot days. As we run off solar power the hours of usage is limited. A cute little wood burner named Meg will keep you cosy in the winter months.

The ultimate nature companion. Margot has a designated fire pit area where you can relax, and toast marshmallows under the stars.

Please note: Campfires are only permitted from mid April through to the end of September. These dates may  change depending on Shire restrictions.

Outdoor Bath

Take advantage of the sweeping views out to Bunbury in the outdoor bath. It's the perfect spot to unwind and watch the sun set with a glass of your favourite Ferguson Valley vino.

Board Games + Books
